VS: Sounds like this business venture may have been the just clean (or in this case unclean) fun brainchild of a night of drinking with some good friends? Was it? How did Mikamy come up with the idea?

AM: Sounds bad. Smells good. Actually, it started when I told Mike to “make sure you wash your ass” and then he said "dot com." Then, a few weeks later on a drive to Chicago (5 hours in a car is enough to make anyone come up with ridiculous ideas) we made up smarty pants, ridiculously named products and decided to buy the domain and get started. Since we already create natural bath and body products for Mikamy Meadows, this was a nice fit. And it is definitely the outlet for our sarcastic and sophomoric sense of humor.

So, that was a few months ago and we have been working on it ever since. We have a facebook fan page and our website is in its infancy. We’re still adding products and product descriptions so if you have any funny suggestions, we’ll be glad to take them (email us at derty@washyerass.com). We rely heavily on things we or our friends actually say to get the humorous copy on the site. We like to take ordinary thoughts or statements and make snarky and fun product names and descriptions.
