TRP:  What instruments do you play?

RSP:  My main instrument in the guitar. But I love anything with strings on it, or rubberbands.

TRP:  How do you write a song?

RSP:  It happens differently each time. Sometimes it pops right out, others have taken years.  If it takes that long, I usually don’t finish it.  I’ll pick up my guitar and take a little trip.  I’ll remember something someone said, real life people, that’s usually how the words or hook come about.

TRP:   What do you consider a good day?

RSP:  Writing a song.  A good day is when a song comes into my head.  It doesn’t have to be finished, but the idea is there.  Also, getting drunk and not having a hangover, that’s a good day. One day a friend and I were talking about drinking and he said “that top shelf whiskey will put ya in the bottom drawer every time."  That was a good day.  I got an extremely good hook for a song.
