Bonn said, “The first [competition] is going to be… evening wear …and then a
swimwear/lingerie and the third round is the kickass round then talent portion
and then question and answer. And their fashion rounds are supposed to be not
what you would typically see in a beauty pageant…just supposed to be a little
more rock style/ kickass style, a little more alternative…things like that.
It’s kind of a competition to show what most people I know would be interested
in actually seeing in a pageant rather than the big ball gowns and the super
skin tight girls wearing little bikinis. I just wanted something that could
show girls beauty in all different forms of life.”

Candace Moser Stafford models her own design for
the evening wear competition. |
When the
pageant was first proposed there were responses from models that were out of
state and even one from out of the United Kingdom! Unfortunately, they hadn’t
realized this was a live event and the models were required to physically
be at the competition.

off her kickass style

When The Voyeur asked Jeremy Allen what would make this event
successful, he responded, “If we raise a lot of money for charity, a
lot of people come through the door, and everyone has a good time. I
would love it if Kevin Kurgis walked in and personally gave
autographed photos to the winners; his autograph was one of the
prizes we were REALLY wanting to say we were giving away. Short of
that miracle happening, I think that if people wanted to see another
Hell on Heels take place…that would be great." |
